Having that said, I’m bringing more tear-jerker anime (both proven and potential) for you to feast your eyes upon. Don’t worry, they’re all good. Now, it’s just up to you to watch and see!
Your Lie in April
Your Lie in April is basically Anohana's second coming, having both done by A-1 Pictures and both having the intention of ripping your heart out in pieces. One thing that both shows share is that there is a good portion of the story being about the childhood of the characters, and even the conflict on both shows started in their childhood. They both are about lose, so it’s pretty easy to put yourself in the Main character's Position and get hit directly by the feel train and even shed a tear.

Angel Beats!
Both have as main a silver haired girl that has a goal to fulfill. Both animes talk about death, life and reincarnation. Both are about a group of friends that go through many situations but in the end show us that true friendship is a wonderful thing. Both will make you teary.
Nagi no Asukara
Nagi no Asukara is basically a fusion or a mix of both AnoHana and Shinsekai Yori - they're both anime about a group of friends/teenagers growing up (mentally and physically) in an "unique" world related to magic in a way. The overall atmosphere of the series is very alike. Most of all because the characters of Manaka and Menma seem very similar, and both of them have a friend who always cares about them (Hikari and Jinta respectively). Both series are about a group of friends who spend time together.
Ano Natsu de Matteru
Anohana and Ano Natsu de Matteru are both emotional anime that have a nearly identical mode of story telling and main male protagonists trying to fulfill the wish of a girl that may eventually disappear from their lives. They also have really similar characters - a socially awkward male, a paranormal girl and their friends in between who are in a pinch regarding their love lives. Both series offer superb animation and feature a lot of touching moments that will most likely make you let out tears and leave you with a happy smile in the end. If you liked watching one of them you shouldn't hesitate to try out the other.
Clannad: After Story
Both of these anime unlocked the gate to eternal manly feels. If you love a good old masculine cry, then these two anime are similar in that aspect. I suggest you do not watch Clannad: After Story before watching Clannad, so if you want a small one-night feels anime, watch Ano Hana. Both of these anime intentionally make the audience cry. If you bottle up your feels, you may find trouble enjoying either of these. They're both deal with some type of loss and the struggles that come with it. They will definitely have an impact on you mentally and physically, that is if you do start bawling.
Little Busters
These anime are based around friend groups, both have good character designs too. These anime are dramatic or search to give the same feeling to the viewer. The storys are very good, the story of little busters is formed around "arcs" for each character, the main character of the both anime have the same mentality and the both are slice of life anime.
Hanasaku Iroha
Both series contain character development along with comedy, drama, an emotional like feeling as the episodes progresses as the story becomes somewhat like a journey from its pilot episode towards its end when the main characters says goodbye to what they've learned.
Plastic Memories
Both shows deal with 'death' in a sense or saying goodbye to a loved one, both are very emotional shows and take you on a roller coaster of emotions. Though they have different settings you get similar vibes from both. From the fact that the protagonists of both of the anime(Tsukasa and Isla in Plastic Memories-and Jintan and Menma in AnoHana) look like a lot, you would find similarities even with their stories
AnoHana created a real tough act to follow in the animated drama department. Its perfect balance of light fantasy and realistic character drama is unique and engaging. Due to these reasons, it became a sizable success both in Japan and abroad.
