Code Geass gets the sequel. And not a "sequel" which is actually a prequel or tells a side story that lasted during the original series, but an honest sequel to goodness. But before that, we get a refresher in the form of three-part film series. And, as is the custom with almost every re-release of any series in different formats, there are many changes and additions.The original Code Geass is quite honest with this amazing series, easily becoming one of my top ten anime series of all time. With the upcoming new project, Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch (Code Geass: Resurrection of Lelouch) announced on the anniversary 10 years ago, a new three-part movie series covering both seasons of the original series was also announced to come first . But even if each movie is over two hours each, it's still the 50-episode series we're talking about. Even in the 20 minute episode, it's over 16 hours of content.
